oh, lovely pups. Funny, Diesel and Dara are very similar to Shelly's great-grand-daughter Tass who I met (and the reason for starting this thread!). She has that white on her nose like Diesel and is that lovely rich brindle like Dara. Must be the gene!

Thank you all. :)

Jax: :huggles: I've been little depressed :( but getting better. The puppies have given me lot of stregth, and things are starting to look more bright. :))

The mother of these puppies is Fin & Est Ch Plaudite Night Life "Nette" (she is also a mother of "Taisto", who you saw at Tammsvik :clown: ), she is of course a g.granddaughter of your Badger. :D

Fergal is one of her great grandsons!

emw: Your boy is beautiful, he seems to move easily. Is he a son of Empra? I saw Empra when we were in England and he is very handsome and moves so well...

Yes he is!!!!! :) :D

Sadly I hardly have time to k9 at the moment, let alone take Fergal to shows - but a judge at one companion show in the summer did say that he had lovely movement  .

That is a gorgeous pic of him, Estelle. Sorry you are too busy to K9 much at the moment, we miss you! How is tired, too? Don't see her here any more either :(

Oh, you should find some time to show him, he looks lovely!

Sorry to hear you have not been feeling too good Minna ........ I can sympathise fully because I have not been great myself since losing Dessie!

That is a lovely picture of Gee 'N Tee and the puppies are just  Look forward to seeing pics of them as they grow up.

Pretty puppies Minna. That paw up thing that they are all doing is very Nevedith. Gee n tee looks very well and we hope to see his name in the results this year.

Summer is coming so hope you will be feeling better soon, and you Dessie.

Thanks Karen and dessie!

dessie: I was so sad for you when I heard about Dessie. We lost Special in December, and that was the main reason of my depression.

Karen: We are showing GNT first time this Saturday, and I'm so nervous. I'm not Nev, so I don't know how he will show himself with me. But he is a clever dog, so I hope it will go well.

It was funny with that paw, some people thought that I've teach the puppies to do that. :D Please tell me, how can you teach a 3 weeks old puppy to lift it's paw up like that?! :teehee: Of course I told these people that I'm just so good trainer.

Hi Minna, glad to hear you are feeling better, having been through depression myself it's good to hear you are improving. Puppy watching is great for improving health.

As for the paw thing, you can extend that into the puppies giving "high fives". All my dogs can do it, because they do it naturally, you just show them how to pick up a bit higher.

Asharna, Lol and Elkie's mum is especially good at it, particularly when she wants something. She whacks you on the nose let alone the hand, but you can't help but laugh. Lol is particularly good at high fiving.

As you are all aware my stuff is all Nevedith and it is a common trait.

I was also very privileged to know Shelley away from the show ring and she was a beautiful, captivating lady, so gentle and friendly. I would like to think that her show record will take a long long time to be beaten as she was such a grand specimen of our lovely breed and she did (IMO) a great deal to enhance the breed and she down the line her grandchildren and GG grandchildren have inherited her qualities also.

And now I'm getting all maudlin, so I'll shut up.

I was so sorry that you had lost Special - he was a very young dog wasn't he :( I know you were terribly fond of him, it must have been an awful shock. :( :( I hope the fact that you have some of his offspring helps a little, and that coming back to K9 and being surrounded by people who understand how you feel will help a bit  :)) :))

Just for the record `Badger ` GT Gt Grandpa of pups also did the` paw thing` as does Buffee , And Badger has NO Nevedith in him at all :- "

janfiers: I have to try that high five thing. All my dogs can give their paws (lift it in the ear and put it in my hand), but I've never teach them to lift the paw any higher that that. Nette, the mom of these pups uses her paws, too. Everytime she wants something from us she comes and paws us, and she can be very demanding. So, probably the puppies have got this paw thing from their both sides. It is very inetresting to follow the growing of these pups, because this is the first time I used Nevedith-dog. But I think that they look very much like their father already. :)

Zephyr: Thank you, Special really was something very special. I'm happy that I had the possibility to live with him his last months and get to know him. He was a handsome male with a golden personality. I know that many people miss him, especially me and Rudi. It was a terrible accident and it will probably haunt me forever. But I'm trying to get through it. I'm happy to have a bitch from his first litter and she is very much like his father, very happy and sincere. She has the kindness and complaisance of her father and I can see lot of Special in her progeny. Special's other daughters who live here are very much like their father too, but this oldest "Nimda" is the dearest.
