Two of our dogs have obsessive tendencies-

Fluke (Meg) is the worst, she is absolutely barmy about carrying not sticks but logs, the bigger the better-the path that she walks on daily is approx 7ft wide and thats the length of log-6ft/7ft x 4inch that she looks for-she blocks the path and railroads our other dogs out of the way-cyclists have to dismount. She carries them for quite a distance too and takes them into the undergrowth when she needs a breather. It was Meg that gave Steve the idea of getting our woodburner. We're never without wood!

Coral (Whitey) is weird about tennis balls-We hit them with a raquet and he will retreive them constantly, drops them at your feet and gets very agitated if you don't bat it immediately, he just won't give up.

:D Our youngster Sam (whisper whizz) also likes to carry sticks but better still empty plastic bottles. He loves it if he finds one just as we leave the house, he will carry it for miles all the way round the walk then drops it at the end of the front garden. Later on if he goes out agian he will pull to get it and carries it again. weird. :p My two old dogs have a fixation with the ground I swear they are like a couple of bloodhounds constantly sniffing the ground for food they r just very greedy. :- "

hi steve, my older bitch, uptown girl. pet name bonnie. is obsessed with toys. but prefers balls or plastic bottles. she throws them at your feet, then gets very exited and is bursting to run down the garden after it, and here is the laugh, if you refuse to pick it up, she grabs it then flicks her head to make it go as far as she can, then flies at it, grabs it , then does it all again. and again, and again, and so on. she is more playful now at over 7 than she was as a pup......i recon she is loony with the lack of racing.

:D Just thought of a few more. Zak (Mickey Whizz) is obsessed with people stroking him. He thinks everyone has to make a fuss of him this includes complete strangers, he walks past wagging his tail and looks upset if they dont stop to talk to him. :( This is embarasing if Sam is with us as he is the opposite he hates strangers. He dont like pple on bikes or joggers. Ziggy (Marleys Magic) has an obsession with rolling on his back as soon as Ive hoovered the living room carpet.

my dog has to be covered with his blanket, he hates brigt lights, a bit weird but he is very fussy about the tempreture he sticks random body parts out from under the blanket to keep himself just right lol

:p LOL John G....... :D GOOD UN

I have to be carefull when walking past joggers too sherry, as mine like to jump up ppl when they are running, Jessy likes a nibble too  she has had hold of a few ppl whilst at the track

Our sally (fragma) courses birds especialy sparrows she has caught many on the garden and is constantly looking for them when we take her on feilds, she likes tennis balls too, she's a bit mad. :clown:

blue goblins is food food food :p and barking at anything not whippet shaped :b

Connors Lass is obsessed with tummy buttons !!!

We literally have to fight her of as she paws at the shirt you are wearing and tries to drag it away to get your tummy button ... strange creature :x

Moany Moany obsesses over squeaky toys and cats. To date she's squeezed throught a 4/5inch gap between two fences for a distance of around 15ft, cleared a 6ft fence and several cats have "dissappeared" minus part-tails, ear flaps or bits of skin/fur.

2 of mine are obsessed with rabbits and frisbees :D ....(have you ever seen a dog chasing a rabbit with a frisbee in its mouth (the dog not the rabbit).....and i wonder why they rarely catch rabbits :- "

My slippers  one of em has just chewed my new slipper, every time i get a new pair i have to walk around in a chewed up one

My Alfie is obsessed with tennis balls & bitches, but not in that order! :D

Murphy is totally obsessed with shredding paper (w00t) ,it's a nightmare trying to read a book or paper when he's about :teehee:

Robbie has to be the first upstairs, only taking about 3 jumps  and he has to be the first back down  .

Willow ( the lil one) has many obsessions. He must have something in his mouth at all times, he loves tennis balls, and when we are out he has to be at the front or he goes loopy. :p .

Paddy our 2yr old is obsessed with willow at the moment. and sleep. (from jenny)
