Oakie is 19 weeks old jack spaniel cross. In the evening for the last week this problem started and it goes on for about 10 mins always around 8. Well here goes...... he bites his willy and uses it like a dummy !!!! He hasn't made it sore YET Is this normal behaviour ? I do try to distract him but I think Oakie feels he must do it. Any ideas why he gets the urge to do this and how to stop it

he's probably just cleaning it. Dogs are innocent little souls, he doesn't realise its grossing you out! I tell mine off for doing it in company, it is so noisy, I can hear him from across the room! I got a bit worried at one point, that if i stopped him, he might get a dirty willy which i figured would be worse, so we compromise and he does it when no-ones visiting. 10mins does sound like quite a long time perhaps tho, maybe he has a little infection there or something, or maybe he's just a dirty boy :)
