Awww poor little girl, there is no way you could have left her xx
Could some of the vets bills be paid for out of the Tilly Fund?? I thought that was what it was for helping abused dogs and this one really has been abused.

Fingers crossed for Chloe

Oh tiz a shame, specally after the state she was in

Just spoken to the vet. Chloe has improved again overnight. They took her off the drip at lunchtime and she is happily eating chicken and rice. They just need to bath her as apparently she celebrated her first proper poo by treading in it and getting it all over herself! :D I can go and pick her up at 5.30pm. She will need a check up in a week's time but the vet is very positive about the situation now. I'm so relieved, I've been worried sick and I just can't wait to see her tonight and see the improvement for myself.

I saw an advert last night on the internet for a 5 month old whippet bitch puppy and yippee I thought, she could be the perfect new friend for Busta. (w00t)   I somehow persuaded my other half James that Friday nights were perfect for 4 hour round trips to look at dogs, :- "  so off we went.  Well to cut a long story short we bought her....but she is a mess.  So frail, so thin, lethargic and is pooing water, has been sick 3 times (just water) and hasn't eaten or drunk anything.  I felt so sorry for her. I know that's not a good reason for buying a dog but I just couldn't bear to leave her there.  She's such a sweetie.  I'm taking her to the vets at 9am to get her checked out.  I'm just praying she hasn't got anything seriously wrong with her.  I'm such an idiot  :( She has been living in outbuildings on her own with no coat, she was covered in fleas (thank god I had a stock of Frontline!).  Look at the mess in her ears in the pic below. Here she is, her name is Chloe.

We wish you the very best of luck nursing Chloe back to health. Like others on this thread, I would like the perpetrators of this crime against her to be brought to justice. Please let us have more pictures of Chloe as she improves. Well done - you are doing a great job.

Ask your vet if he would report the original owner to the RSPCA, it would have more clout. I hope they do not have any other dogs.

Poor little baby, :luck: :luck: :luck: Chloe
