My mum accidentally fed my dad chicken giblets plus other assorted odds and ends that were intended for her friends labrador. She'd stored them in a pan with the lid on, Dad came home assumed it was his tea, warmed it up and ate the lot. I guess he was reaaaallly hungry. He didn't even realise till my mum asked him where the dog's scraps had gone!!! Didn't do him any harm though, he's in his seventies now and has just about learnt to laugh at the incident. :p

you can bet your last penny that we've all eaten something that was not meant to be in a meal and paid a good price for it at a 'nice' restaurant :x :x :x

almost makes me not want to eat out ever again

squeamish people ....don't read any further !........................

at an Indian restaurant for a friends birthday I had samosa's to start, there was a short + curly hair with a follicle contrasting quite obviously on the slice of tomato garnish :x we sent it back ( after I poked a hole in each samosa and them turned them over)....................you guessed it, when the replacement came quickly I checked the underneath of the samosa's and there were my two fingersized tell tale holes for identification :x :x

A good while later a second hot replacement came, all intact....but then you worry throughout the rest of the meal about what you can't see in your curry  :( :x

When I was going through my divorce ,I made my x a shepherd's pie using a can of pedigree chum :- "

He ate it all

Can't tell you what else I did

That adds a whole new meaning to curry..
