As he's got older he's got lighter. I'm just hoping that I can live with him being as thin as this. :( He did stirling work when teaching Jest to race and after running on a track every week he gets very upset and down when he doesn't get to run. Hhis being lighter has meant that he can now weigh in as a racing dog, he'll be a veteran in July so he'll start racing at the opens then. Veteran racing is really good fun summat special I think.

I love his white eyebrows.

:sweating: this is more tricky than it appears to be. The first lot were massive. Arrgh the last one is huge still off to edit it again. :sweating:

Fingers crossed this one will be better. I have no hair left now.

bless him looks like hes enjoying his run barb

great pics how you get them on k9 that size

Beautiful piccy, i to love his white eyebrows, and chin, he looks beautiful, what a hansome boy

OMG! He looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO like Frankie now!! I must try and get a pic of Franks and post it so that you can see how similar they look! My old boy Dante has lost a lot of condition, yet when I took him to Vitnary for a check-up he was his normal weight. It really worries me but he is 13 so I suppose its an age thing because other than that he behaves normally.

Bean

As much as I love puppies, older dogs are just fantastic - I love seeing grey faces

Hope he enjoys his veteran racing. :luck:

:sweating:

Thanks folks. First time I've used photobucket. I think that it showed. :b Thank goodness there is no time limit for when I can edit my posts

He'll be 6 on the 8th of July John, his son Mouse will be 3 on the same day.

I dunno how I got them that big Tina. I thought that photo bucket resized them down to a sensible size so didn't shrink 'em myself first. Nowt like putting photos of a dog on an open board with it's name tag and my phone number clearly written on it. (w00t)

I'd love to see some photos of Frankie. Dante 13 years old. BTW I noticed that you have got far too stripey in your house 'bout time you had a young black again.

Thanks Rae.

Must admit Dessie I fell in love with both Dante and Frankie and thought they were immaculate as does Barb's Bean when she showed me piks

Lovely photos Barb, he's goregous and your photography skills look like they're coming along well with those action shots.

Aw Max handsome lad. You have to make the most of their blackness whilest they still have it. I've noticed that some of the racing lines keep their colour a long time and yet others go grey very, very early.

I know what you mean, i wish i had seen him with a black face, as he was 14 months old when he came to us & he was going grey then  I will have to play about with one of his pic's & make him all black again

Lovely photos of Bean.

I bought a new SLR recently, but am still struggling a bit and have reverted back to my old camera for doggie shots :- " until i can get more practice in. Your photos are very good.

I am very aware that I am going to be losing my blacks sooner rather than later, Beejay, so as Millie has intimated ...................................I have a cunning plan!!!

Here's a photo of Frankie, taken today. Note some other little nosey parker trying to get in on the act!!!

Frankie is Bean's grandfather for those who don't know!

Oh I didn't mean to point out that your black boys are getting on (that is too sad to think about). Just meant that your stripey ones are overwhelming your non stripey ones.

Good luck with your cunning plan. You minus a perfectly striped all over non dilute ie a black well that's just not whippets is it. (w00t)

What a lovely photo of Frankie. He doesn't look much more grey than Bean so there is hope of no more black hair loss. Bean says hi to grampy.
