It's amazing to me how little these dogs have changed to the present day.

Proves the old adage that form follows function.

Equally amazing is the condition of most of them! When you consider they didn't have high protien completes, methionine,white E etc. That "Lady Barton" is in fantastic condition. Suppose they got plenty of beef out in the west though.
 
Brilliant pictures :thumbsup: .......I expect that all of those dogs had a natural diet in those days (caught their own dinner :eek: ) which would explain the condition of the dogs :D
