Only been racing a few years so I haven't got that many, but I do read through them regularly.

When I had my accident Amanda Worcester lent me boxes full, going back to 1990s.

It was very interesting reading about dogs that I had heard about but not seen.

We have been racing since 1968/69 looking for a Whippet at the old Welling Club at London Colney & Braeswood Club near Southend, together visiting Pitsie Club all long gone

We seriosly started buying The Whippet News from the middle of 1970 and have full sets since then. We also have some earlier copies .

Dave is always refering to them even though our course took the Pedigree Racing Line & not Non Pedi

We were also founder members of Stevenage Club unfortunately no longer . We are still friends of some member of this old Club & contact each other occasionly.

It is a shame there is so few No Pedi Clubs in the South as we used to enjoy racing with them

We are founder members of East Anglian Whippet Racing Club and this would not have been started with out the help of Newmarket Club allowing us to use there ground & equipment. We are still racing at the same venue but alas this Newmarket Non Pedi Club folded many years ago.

We still look forwad to The Whippet News coming each month.
