We have lots of older greyhounds and lurchers looking for homes, and this lovely pair of whippet crosses who have been overlooked for far too long (but I guess two dogs would definitely mean your husband has to walk!)  Zara and Star

I see Zara and Star have been adopted and the Oldies site seems to have good success finding homes

perhaps this 7 year old bitch listed at Lurcher Link will be of interest. She is bigger than a whippet but smaller than a greyhound, I think

i did see that dog but havent had a chance to do anything about it yet as both of the kids have been ill. :wacko:
