My introduction to whippets was a rescue whippet X who is such a darling. We then got another rescue who had sight hound in her but what and where is anyones guess. I couldn't suppress my urge for a full whippet and got the gorgeous Gracie as a puppy. Tragicaly, we lost our lovely second rescue which left Gracie a bit stuck for a playmate, as Tilly doesn't really do play, so got our second full whippet puppy, Milo, who is now 9 months. I can't imagine having one dog but lots of people do and you could argue that they have more interaction with you as a single dog. The one thing I would say with a multi whippet household, is that they can be a tad 'clanish' (but that just might be mine) It is something else watching them run together over a beach or field (and complete strangers will just stop and watch them when they are really going for it) - and generally looning around!
