Just to say we are gutted for Maidstone Club ,the reason for the cancelation being due to some maverick workmen churning up the area around the race track and damaging the scaffolding from which the lure is driven.

I know that you now have the situation 'in hand' and would like to stress that the race area is NOT affected.

Thank you Maidstone for contacting me to advise me of the change of date(as I had already posted my entry).I can imagine the job of notifiying all must be a struggle.

I would hope that in consideration of these facts the points systems will be able to come to a satisfactory agreement(we are all in this to race our whippies as best we can!!).(If not could you keep the closing date for the original Open ?)

Secondly,what ever you choose as way of pup's ages on the day of your Open(there will always be the few that will not agree!!!).They have the option not to partake in your day.

Finally,thank you for the annoucement on K9,Not an official site I know as many do not have access,But its one channel (un officially) of trying to let fellow racers of the change

Hello Everyone,
Just to let you all know that Maidstone and Mid/Kents open has been cancelled due to the weather, it has been re-scheduled to the 29th April the closing date will now be Friday 20th April, so if you just want to keep to the original entry forms and just change the date they will still be excepted.

Don't know about the old boy(Trailblazer) being overweight he was flying at Oxford a couple of weeks ago Colin. I'm afraid it boots on and start pounding that pavement with the boys. You know Ernie is never going to let you off easily.
