After my walk out this afternoon, Oscar has a mouth injury. Its on the underside of his tongue. I heard him yelp out and could see blood dripping from his mouth - and wasnt quite able to see anything. Ayway he has slept since he got back and wasnt himself at all so he has had a trip to the vets at tea time - has now had some antibiotics and pain killers.

Hes got to go back in the morning and will be sedated so the vet can have a better look in case there are any fragments of anything in there. he hopes it is just bruising etc and so do I because otherwise he may have to have an op, so fingers crossed.

Hes looking very sorry for himself and wont touch his food, which isnt surprising.

Please think of us tomorrow. :luck:

I hope he doesnt need an Op Janis - but if he does he will be fine, so long as you pander to his every whim, and he can recover on your bed. We will be thinking of you tomorrow :luck:

I suppose even a smallish injury to the tongue would be very painful as they are so sensitive.

Good luck for tomorrow Oscar, bound to be sore on the tongue you know how it hurts when you bite yourself, hoping it's just a little cut, yes I think ice cubes may be a good idea
