Peter, this is Paul Jennings

Just read your post and would like to reply, I am sorry you felt you had the wrong yardage.

Also Iam sorry you never got Fastest time in the spring classic, i would not usually come on K9 to answer i would talk to you in person but as you put it on the net for all to see i shall reply the same way.

I was asked to time in by Bill & Doreen, no problem if i can help i will.

I was not running a dog so at no advantage in timing in, never have run if i was working on Time event.

Fastest time yes i agree your dog did do the fastet time an error at presentation i do not think Doreen would do this on purpose do you.

As you say you were beat about four length in heat on my sheet which i did with Tony Cooper i put about 4 yards in it not 2 that was a bit exagerated i think Pete in all Fairness

I did confront the owner of the said dog and he was pulled two yards to try and make the next round more competitive

Time handicaps are very difficult to get right but had a go and in most cases very close racing

Yours in sport

Paul Jennings

I will not be debating this anymore

Just incase anybody jumps the gun I (and I would hazzard a guess Valerie) admire the work that Childline doe's (SP maybe for Susan and Val club joke) and they should be supported in every way it's a bit of banter we do that up here.

Paul, like I said in my reply, I have nothing but praise for all who help out at meetings, yourself included, It was just that after all the time Tigger has had off due to injuries, common sence should have saved, what turned out to be a very unfair race. As I also said I was under the influence of the amber nectar. I dont bear grudges so I will still be in the bar next time we meet at racing.

your ever so understanding friend

Peter.

I do not think there is anything wrong with the sport as it is, the faults come with some of the members ( and these are a minority) who are hell bent on causing trouble/unrest regardless of whome they upset, the organisers at all events work very hard and sometimes all they get is moaning, now and again there are people who give them praise :D as we all should :- " WHY do we not try to get the sport back to the way it was :- " and instead of falling out and pulling members/events down let us all pull together and enjoy the sport/hobbie that we all like
