We went to stay with friends in Scotland for the long weekend. It was a mixed trip- nightmare drive up there -7 hrs excluding the breaks- and the dogs were wonderful o no complaints at all (except when we made a descision that they might need to have a little walk and it was raining, blowing a gale and 9c- having left Oxford in sunshine at 24c)
THey had a lovely time chasing rabbits, no success but enormous fun anyway.
Unfortunately the resident 9mth labrador was a bit of a problem  - not really his fault- untrained and unsocialised  , he barked and barked and barked at my babies and the angels just stood there and took it. Eventually Nana growled back, so he bit her leg - didn't punture the skin, but the bruising was remarkable- deep purple all the way down the poor girl's frnt leg, inside and out. After that he got shut in the run outside and whined pitifully for the rest of the weekend. The amazing thing was that Nana didn't seem to notice the bruise at all.
Anyway- here are some photos of the fun bits
