:( Would you believe it! Ozzy started with the runs again last night :x . I dont understand why he can be fine one minute and the next not. He hasnt had anything different to eat at all cos Ive been really careful. Could stress make him like this? the first time it happened he had travelled to his first show. he has always been a poor traveller but was ok when I took him to NEWS - he started the day after.... yesterday morning he was fine, I took him in the car to my friend and he really drooled on the way there then threw up on the way back :x then started with the runs late last night. I wondered if it was the stress of travelling? He hasnt been today, but all hes had is a spoon of live yoghurt. Tonight the vet has given me some promax and some tins of meat for sensitive tums  and I have to take some samples in (may prove difficult with it being xmas and the labs are shut!) she is going to have a word with the top man there who will ring me tomorrow so we have a plan of action. Im worried cos hes dropped weight again. :(

Hes wolfed the two spoons of tinned meat down cos hes hungry so Ill see how he goes on tonight. :huggles:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Winding you up? :- " Not sure about that, I'm not convinced dogs can give themselves the runs at will! I would definitely be wondering about the stress thing, when my ex hub left Rifle had the runs in a major way, on and off for nearly two weeks. Even had a few accidents in the house which was previously unheard of (as a pup he only ever had one poo in the house and that was his first night with us so he was pretty exceptional!). I am convinced that it was stress with him as he was very attached to ex-hub :(

Hope things get sorted soon, sounds like you are doing all the right things. :luck:

How's Ozzy today Tina? Hope his tummy is settling down :b Poor lad :( , he seems to be getting these bouts quite regularly.......I'm sure it's very upsetting for you all.

Keep us informed how he's doing and let us know if the vet works out the cause.

Maybe it's an intolerance to something in what he's eating? Mind you, his mum. dad and litter mates seem to be able to eat anything & everything   , maybe his digestive system is just more sensitive  than the rest of the clan? :b

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU & THE FAMILY, BOTH HUMAN & CANINE!!

....and give Ozzy lots of cuddles :huggles: from me

Ozzy is fine in himself thanks, he just goes from being perfectly normal

to having terrible runs sometimes in one day!!! Cant pinpoint anything at the moment as to the cause, which is why the vet is wanting to test his blood etc. Ill let you know what they say when I get results.

We wish you a very merry christmas too
