Congratulations to all in the cards we've just returned ( gundogs today!).

We are especially pleased with our Mo ( Lawleymoon Yogo Sapphire) gaining third in not only the MPB class but also the PB class and qualifying for crufts, despite a rather large stretch just as the judge looked at her!!!! :wub: (w00t) Think she thought laughter was the best way forward, a puppy after my own heart! Mo will certainly be a girl who does her own thing o Thanks to Teena, Lola and woody, and the lawley family for providing us with such a lovely girl with all of her somewhat 'unique' ways! :lol:

Also our ziggy(Mr Zig) ( harri hester) performed exceptionally well gaining 3rd in Yearling and 1st in GD, not bad considering all his hormones and having to share a caravan with 2 girls!! - this is now a full year of showing without him being out of the cards we are sooooo pleased

So well done to all!

OK folks, I give up. I have been to the Isle of Man on holiday with my Mum, and I have seen the Lady Isabella waterwheel, but I haven't a clue who Lady Isabella (the whippet) is! :blink: Can someone please enlighten this foreigner as to parentage, dob etc.? You may all know her but I cannot find her in my own database or on the Whippet Archive either.

Help please!

Hi Lanna,

As you are aware I live on the Isle of Man, when we had our litter, I wanted to give all the pups Manxs name and wanted a manx prefix but they had all been used, so we just gave them Manx show names.

Laxey Lady Isabella - Lucy

King Orry - Billy

Douglas Boy -

Peel Juan Lad - Juan

Sire is Watcar Snow Storm breed by Mr & Mrs P Carter

Dam is Taylors Ramsey Girl breed by Mrs S Clarke

Both from the Blackpool area.

It has helped. Anne S. also told me who her sire was in a pm and as soon as I knew him I discovered I had a female entered as Lady Laxey Isabella so it didn't take a genius IQ to discover that I had juxtaposed Laxey Lady and therefore couldn't find it anywhere. Annie also told me where to find her photo so I shall go look for that next! Thanks so much, and congratulations from here!
