wow reading this has made me realise how lucky i am, my neighbours are really nice and iv 7 dogs!
mine to and iv got my tenth whippet sunday and both sides love her mind you i take some with me to work all day. :huggles:

...on the other side of us,the neighbours are obsessed with parking their car just where they want if anyones parked outside their house they knock on their door and tell them to shift it...
We had a neighbour like that! Mad old witch who, because she'd lived there for 14 years and was the oldest tenant, acted as though she owned the courtyard where we live. She was OBSESSED with parking her car next to her living room window and gawd help anybody who put THEIR car there!!!

She once came into the shop where I worked and shouted at me to stop parking my car next to her flat. Needless to say it made me determined to park there even more!!! :- " And if she moved her car to go to the shops I'd nip out and move my car into her space before she got back....childish I know but SO funny!!! (w00t)

It was just her attitude - she was a retired headmistress and used to talk to everybody as though they were naughty five year olds - I told her she was a mad obsessive old bat!!! :- " She'd had a go at most of the neighbours in this square but most folks just gave in to her  HUH!!!! Not me and Neil - we've had bad neighbours before and now don't stand for any nonsense!!!

BUT.......she moved out last week to live with her daughter and it's SO peaceful now. Everybody can park wherever they want without having that crazy woman harassing them

Does any one else have really irritating neighbours?
When we moved in here we paid about £2000 to have the whole of our garden fenced in properly. We used tannalised wood so it wouldn't need to be painted etc.  Our neighbours have creasoted the fence over the last few days.  The creasote has seeped through onto our side wherever there is a knot in the wood so the fence looks well stupid now.  It has also seeped through and where it has touched some climbing plant we were growing up the fence they have shrivelled and died.

I wouldn't mind too much but we paid for the fencing which has improved their garden no end and they didn't have the decencey to tell us they were paining the fence, which didn't need doing anyway.

Going back a few yrs now, we had this young chap living over the road from us, he drove a little owd fiesta, engine sounded like a bed of nails, anyhow early hrs of every morning down our street hed come radio blasting out full pap, after several attempts at parking enough room fer a sherman tank, hed sit there listening to his radio, woke us up every night, i told him about it, but in one ear out the other, soooo, this here night i give him the shock of his life, down the steet he came radio on full took him half hr to park, i was jack lulu having just got out of bed, i stuck the biggest carving knife i had twixt my teeth, my lady put on the bedroom lights, i through the curtains back, hes not here now  he moved telling the neighbours i was a madman, im not, im just a funny ossity

I take it all back - phone call from solicitor this afternoon, house purchase going through looking to complete on Wednesday - who knows what new neighbours will be like but unless I'm especially unlucky it won't involve any ex's :D

Can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to my 93' whippet racetrack garden

There is always a bright side, we had an awkward git for a neighbour and last year he sold up and left :D :D

You think you are paranoid, but it proved to me he was wierd when the very nice new neighours said he left the house full of his rubbish and no forwarding address!
