I have only just caught up with this thread and I am so desperately sorry for you and your family,it is one of the most distressing things to have to do and my thoughts are with you. :huggles: :huggles:

thanks for all the kind words,he's still with us and fairly normal at the moment but the next few weeks are the real worry as the brain swelling could come back any time now.

this whole experience is very very stressful and although i'm trying to steel myself for the decision ahead i know i'll fall apart when it happens.

We're back to the vets next Friday for more blood tests to check the phenobarb levels and for another course of antibiotics.

but thank you again,knowing you're all thinking of us helps us stay strong. xx
