wow ive just got a reply from james read at last. (w00t) maybe the reason its taken so long is cos hes been inundated with complaints from members of the public.he says hes sure surrey police will be taking appropriate action.ill pm him again in a few weeks to enquire just what the appropriate action taken was. :- " ;)

sickening, heartbreaking and incredibly sad. and this from people here to 'help' and 'protect'?! ugh. hope willow has her happy ending

dont give up. :) try again a week from now.maybe theres nothing to report yet and thats why they havent replied.if we dont give up and keep at them they will have to show theyre doing something

i receieved a e-mail yesterday which said that sussex police feel this is a very serious matter the member of staff involved has been dealt with by means of an internal disciplinary hearing.

so may it be but we want to know how far the discipline will go!!! head on a block for starters would be good!!!

i feel that this is so serious that it ought to be in the public domain, not the subject of an internal disciplinary action.i think this will be on their record for the rest of their lives and when it comes to promotion/pay rises i hope this is taken out and read and remembered by the people in authority over them

I hope you're right, but I have my doubts, no one seems to be given much of a punishment for ill treatment to animals, a slap on the wrist maybe!!! I would be quite happy if they were starved for a month and banned for keeping any animals for life.

SHOOT THE 2 BASTARDS..LIVE ON SKY !
Would that be Pay Per View, or part of the normal Sky package. :- "

Seriously though. Dealing with this internally sounds to me just like, "Whoops you made a wee mistake here's a token slap on the wrist, now back to work with you."

I do hope I'm wrong and whoever is dealing with this internal disciplinary hearing is a real animal lover and gives a punishment to fit the crime. I suppose we'll now never know.

i agree, just like we have not heard anything more about the greyhound that was left to die in police kennels
