Is there any Pedigree Whippet racing or lure coursing in Carlisle?

:D Unfortuanately you are stuck in the middle, as your closest 2 Pedigree Whippet Racing Clubs are The Northern PWRC is approx 100 miles South just of M6 from Carlisle ( Post code PR7 GDU) and The Scottish Thistle PWRC is approx 110 miles North of Carlisle ( Post code FK10 4AH ) and i am sure that you will get a warm welcome if you go to either of them.

Hope this helps.....

I thought with the size of Carlisle then they would have had something, looks like it would be a 200 mile journey either way, and with petrol prices, I don't think would be feasible, does anyone know, if anyone travels to the Northern PWRC from Dumfries&Galloway, car share could be an option.

Does no one race from my area?

It seems that they don't Joe.

You look like being in the middle of no man's land there - a long way from the Scots and equally a long way from the Northerners.

Might be the chance to start your own club? Advertise for potential members - there are plenty of people here to offer you advice on how and where to do it.

Good luck.

I actually got my whippet for Working as i have quite a bit of permission, hunted rabbits for 40 Years, i just thought i would try him, as he is very keen on the lure on a stick, and i have ordered a lure machine.
