tell you what i wished i had insurance blue was realy ill a month or so ago and all the symtoms seemed to me like a stroke all i ever use to go to was the vet at the local track and get my jabs and that done there who is as cheap as chips but dog seemed so ill took him to local vet they asked if i had insurance and i said no so few blood tests and a quick examanion later £260 for 20mins work no response after a few days took him back done a few scans and a lumber punch later how much do you think i owed for 2 treatments and a night he had to stay in vets wait for it£1258:79p and its not that i would not pay the world for treatment for any of my dogs i just think vets are robbers who dont even have to hold a knife to your throat lol so i would suggest insurance big time

ISA - save up to £3000 per annum without the taxman asking about it.

No vets bills that year and the moneys there for vaccs, wormers, ultrasound machines etc

Too many provisos with pet insurance companies and if your dog ends up with a long term illness that needs regular medication then they'll mess you around regardless.

£850 the bill was, Steve got a lot of it back after doing a deal with the vet, :-

Worth every penny to have the girls come through it. :teehee:

I use Healthy Pets .co.uk . £14.86 a month for 2 dogs.

Tilly is insured with sainsbury's £13 per month cover £7500 (premiums increase with age) Izzy and Duffy are with A&L £7-50 each per 4 weeks cover £4,500 plus public liabillity on all

These are the sort of questions the nnwrf/bwra should be looking into for members --What does it say about helping in constitution?

surely if all dogs running were insured by same company they would be able to obtain a good deal?

Any club i have ever joined always had reduced offers as a club for members ---at a discounted rate --

maybe food 4 thought ?

Maybe they could even work a bit of sponsership out of them whilst they were trying
