Well, have been doing alot of research and thinking that maybe a van would be a good idea. I have found this one which has 3 seats in the front and a sliding side door plus double door at the back.

Does anyone have one or any experience of them?

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

thats what i would like and consider :D

I still don't know what's wrong with a Tranny ;) ....3 seats, room for loads of Whippets and shopping ......and I'll tell you something Darc, if you put L plates on it you'll be surprised how many people get out of your way  .......but yes Peugeot vans are very nice but expensive for parts so he indoors has just said :)

ford do one, it has glass panals in the back and 4 seats

I understand that the Peugeot Expert van is the same as the Fiat Scudo/Citroen Dispatch van-just different badges?????

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ahhhhh you're joing the van clan too (w00t) . They're handy little vans, i was looking at peugeot, citroen & fiat versions for ages but they do fetch quite good money at the moment, don't know how much you are thinking of spending though. I went for a Vauxhall Vivaro in the end, we got a 52 plate for £5k and i'm made up with it, goes like sh*t off a shovel and is surprisingly easy to drive and park (bearing in mind i've gone from driving an ickle seat ibiza) and i have no trouble carting our 7 dogs about, just waiting for other half to buy me some made to measure cages and i'll be laughing.

Good luck in your search, i have absolutely no patience when it comes to car shopping

Thanks for the replies again guys  I have looked at a Vito - very nice, but just slightly out of my price range and was also worried about the cost of parts. Have also looked at the Vivaro as I have a vauxhall now and that would be the upper limit of my price range (well, depends on what I could get for mine part X). I am very tempted :))

Thanks Hannah for Chris' advice about parts for the Expert, I have been looking at other vans/people carriers from some of the less common brands but was worried about costs of parts for them, I had mistakenly thought that Peugeot's would be reasonable as they are so widely available.

Good luck Darcia in your vehicle hunt, :luck: although Im glad mines over for now anyways... Id even considered some type of van too...

my friends have a Citreon Berlingo....suppose its like a van with windows...and there is the Perg.Partner and another similar model too cant think right now..

Must admit years ago my hubby drove a large transit van with his job...and we used to borrow it for all sorts...quite miss those days, and I didnt have three whippets then..

Don't know if you've remembered Darc, but Maureen still has the Fiat Scudo - she loves it. I don't know if she has considered selling it, but I'll ask her tomorrow. She is moving to the Forest of Dean, and may go for a very small economical car, as she will be driving the girls back to Gloucester to school every day, and also back to Gloucester to work.

As you know we love our Berlingo, and if you get the car version, you have the option of having the extra seat in the back. The Partner/Scudo/Despatch are all the same, and I have to say probably more roomy than the Berlingo.

We went for the Berlingo car for a bit of comfort, after having our excellent Mitzubishi L300 van for 9 years.

I drive a Renault Kangroo! It has room in back for 2 whippets and their cages.

And you can still have 4 passengers with you and still have room for all racing gear!! hope you find what is right for you :luck:
