Photographs in posts

Hi Mel

Yes, you can put your photographs in posts - however, i'ts easier to do than explain. It's difficult to explain and sounds complicated but is pretty straightforward once you've done it a couple of times.

When you type out your posts what you really do is put a pointer in that points to where the photograph is stored. The photo must first be stored on a web site somewhere in the world.

I assume you have signed up with an ISP - so you have a dial up line, email etc. Almost all ISP's will also provide you with some web space - usually 5 or 10Mb. Look at your ISP's literature or web site for details. What you need to do is store you photograph on your web space. You'll use an ftp client to upload the picture to your ISP.

Then just put your post in k9 and use the 'img' Ikontag at the begining and the '/img' Ikontag at the end of the http link to your picture. Have a look at the help on Ikontags through the help link above.

Hope that explains it :) if you need any further help let me know...

I just love pictures :)

lets see if the CODE iBtag works on v2 boards. Nope :(  It would look like this, but WITHOUT any spaces.

With NO SPACES that will show Lexie, (below)  one of my 3 greys.
