What a good looking dog Karen. He did well for you in the 13 yrs you had him .

Next pic Tip in the middle, and on either side litter sisters to Billy Craigs Delboy. On the left is Vickys Resin and on the right is Micks Skyfire Walker Chatsworth under 23 straight champion and Hurdle Champion.Tip was Dels 2nd litter the other two was Dels 3rd litter.Think a pup out of Skyfirewalker and two become one has just got its title with non peds.

Finally my last pic.Dels 4th litter. The dog on the right is my own Rodders. He never raced at Chatsworth and retired early due to injury but he is Lurcherworlds first straight racing champion of champions,he now enjoys an easy life in front of the telly :D and just in case you wondered what happened to Dels first litter I haven't got a photo but Dave Pullens Defer was out of this litter he too was Chatsworth Straight racing champion.

So you see why Delboy was so precious to us first and foremost he was the best pet dog anybody could wish for.2nd boy had he got speed and early pace and third he could throw speed and early pace. All four litters were from different bitches.I suppose this is a fitting epitaph to our Del and guess what i'm bloody crying again.Miss you Del

John ,those photo's were taken with a 35 mm cam ,years ago .But i was thinking(Dangerous i know),what if i posted you the photo's themselves by Mr postman type post n not Mr PC type post. Then you might be able to Mr PC type post them onto this stupid thing. And by the way ,i dont need a new digi cam as i bought one a few months ago £3oo.oo worth.Remember lending someone one of the batteries out of it one day at youre show ,but i forgot to attach the return spring to it so it didnt come back.Wonder who that might have been?.You wouldnt have any ideas would you?CAUSE MY MEMORY IS A BIT LIKE THE BOYS WHO BORROWED IT.Its a wee blue thing .But then you know that anyway.

Ithink the wee blue brindle one in the centre is a cracker ,just my type. Dell Boy would also be my type of dog as i like to be ablr to see the power in a dogs make up.

Thanks for all your kind remarks  Thats my little bit of dreaming about the past done with :- " You're right Billy can't beat a good bit of power in a dog :D The little bitch in the middle is Peggy(Chris's Gift)she's certainly got power an absolute pleasure to watch. She made the switch from lurcher racing to non peds and has won a couple of opens and gained 2 titles along the way. :D Karen

Nice looking dogs  Is the cream dog on the left out of Del?

No Tom the dog on the left is the puppy champion on the day. He's Freddie(Sugarfire/greyhound) :D Karen

Karen, you must be so proud of Delboy. I had the pleasure of watching Billy Craig's Delboy run a couple of times and he was very early paced also. He was unlucky when Billy Craig took him to Chatsworth as you know that dip can cost a dog the race. I'm not sure if you are aware that Billy Craig sent him over to Gary Farmer and Gary won one of the non-ped straight racing championships with him, but i think Gary registered him with the name Uncle Ernie. In my opinion England probably didn't see the best of him as he was probably between 3 to 4 years old when he was just being schooled out of boxes. I know when i have met Billy now and again his face beams whenever he talks about Delboy.

Thanks for your comments Darren  Yes we were really proud of Del :D Billys Delboy was registered as Uncle Albert, and although I never saw him race with non peds I have seen a video of when he got his title.I think all that went against him was his size.It can hamper the big dogs coming out a whippet trap.Don't know if you know but he was bred with and produced Mike Palmers Tigger.Mike sold him last year but prior to that he won the Midland twice.I think i've got a photo of him somewhere will find it out and put on here.I do remember how proud Billy was of his Delboy, and quite rightly so. infact i've still got a photo he sent me of Delboy and Miss Ellie when he owned her. Please remember me to him when you see him and tell him i'm pleased he made it back into racing :D Karen

Thought the brindle on the picture looked familiar lol.

Tell Peggy that "Auntie Blaze" says Hello lol :- "
