Lovely pictures - hes a lovely dog.

well I think you have him standing quite well  The first is the best as his back legs are a bit further out and this makes his hocks vertical - in the others he is not quite stretched out enough which makes him look a bit short in length.

His front legs are directly underneath him which is correct, the only thing I would do is crouch on the floor by him when you stack him this will stop him looking up and give a better view of his neck and head

well done he looks lovely :D

thanks jo, went back and had another look, see what you mean  will keep practicing.

I like the last one standing the best. Good Luck at the show.

Hi Melanie

I think you're doing great for a newbie! :))

I agree with Jo that his feet placement is correct in the first one, however he looks a bit stuffy in neck there. The last one (standing) shows his neck off better, so if I were you I would hold his collar up under his ears (you don't have to hold it really tight) and put the bait just in front of his nose. You don't want him to stick his neck out too far. Make sure you give him some bait every now and again or he'll get tired of looking for it.

Good luck - when is your first show, Manchester?

He's a lovely looking dog - what's his breeding? You've probably said it before but I've forgotten. :b
