A couple of snaps of Sunday's Beagle Dog Trophy winner - Milo. Milo won for the second time in a row. Which is fortunate as his mum and dad hadn't got around to engraving his name on the trophy yet. Maybe by next year.... :)

(Murphy was second, Bailey third and Benny fourth).

As we arived early, Paul decided to practice his photography skills on the whippets yesterday. He got a couple of nice pictures that we thought you might like.

I *think* this is Scooby's little one:

Not sure who this is:

And these beauties are of sky - I think Paul had got used to whippet speeds by the time this one came around as he got lots of nice shots of her:

I think the Beagles need their own lure - the ones the Whippets use is far too slow!

...although somehow it managed to slip through their paws....

And a couple of Beanie racing Toby:

It might not look like a fair race, but Beanie LOVED it. She was squealing her head off as she ran (a sure sign that she's really running her socks off and having a ball!). In the park she always seeks out much faster dogs to play chases with. She likes a challenge!

In the park she always wins. If she can't beat them on speed she gets them on manouverability. And if that doesn't work she just keeps going and going until the other dog is knackered.

I doubt she'll ever figure out how to beat a Whippet on a race track, but one things for certain - she won't stop trying :)

What's that Beagle motto again .... "determined and tireless".

Excellent pictures, brave effort from Beanie, but I think Toby thought she was a spectator :- " :b :huggles: :p

Beagle tactics. Let them think they're faster than you and then when they're least expecting it......

:teehee:
