A friend took these pictures last week with their new Canon camera. I thought I would post them here. Shows Fred enjoying the morning sun :

He thought he'd better pose for this one.....

Stan didn't want to be left out..so here is one of him too:

I won't show these to OH, he wanted a schnauzer rather than a whippet (after reading the Thin Man). Lovely photos!

Fred  and Stan  lovely pictures - love that fish in the window too.

How is Fred keeping these days ??

Mini Schnauzers are lovely Elizabeth, but very vocal. Don't think they'd get on too well with your ducks and chickens.

Fred is quite well thanks Janis. He still limps but it hasn't got any worse and doesn't seem to bother him too much at the moment. Have the metacam handy just in case though.

You'll notice I got my way on the whippet/schnauzer front :- " Our dog spent the first six months of his life trying to eat them. He's good as gold with all waterfowl now though.

Has Stan been unwell? Must have missed that one. :luck:

Fred was diagnosed with arthritis in his elbows and toes on one side of him a few months back. Have been adding a formula of Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM to his feed, and he gets the rare dose of metacam if he looks to be in pain (gets the odd bad day where he seems hunched up and miserable). Doesn't happen very often though.

Thats a shame. How old is he now?

Not that old really...nine..but he does have an old injury on his side.
