Just posting a few pics of Cashie for Mary-Caroline. It's a while since we've seen any of him, and boy has he grown (w00t) what a gorgeous colour he is

Helen,

Thanks so much for posting those pics for me. I have some more recent ones which I shall attempt to post myself when I have a spare 6 hours!!

Sorry I haven't been posting much recently. I always intend to as I received so much help from this board when we first got Cashie, which I really appreciate. We wouldn't have found him were it not for K9 and he really is wonderful. We couldn't have hoped for a better puppy and I can't imagine not having him. As you can see from the first pic, my worries about the cats were completely unfounded although he still gets a swat on the nose from time to time just to remind him who's boss.

I am indeed a vet nurse (well remembered Helen!) and yesterday I anaesthetised Cash for his castration (and minor umbilical hernia repair). I'd worried about whether or not I should do the anaesthetic myself but in the end I knew that I couldn't bear not being there. At least if something were to go wrong, I'd be responsible. However happily the operation was totally routine and I didn't go to pieces because he's my own dog (I did have a nurse friend of mine on standby in case that happened.) Cashie's absolutely fine although I think he was a little confused as I was watching Tim Henman's match while Cash was still a little groggy and I think he wondered what I was shouting about!

I'll make more of an effort to post here, and thanks again for putting those pics up for me.

No-name puppy number 2 went to me!! She's called Molly. I only just joined this site a while back for some advice and to look at pictures of lovely whippet pics.

I just started reading this thread when I realised one of Mollys brothers was called Cashie. He is beautiful by the way!

Don't quote me on this but I think Macy may have gone back to the breeder, I know that he took back one of the brindle pups and she's now called tipsy.

Anyway, heres a pic of Molly and her new friend Lenny (and if anyone has noticed, yes we did steal the name from one of her brothers because we thought it was cute!!)

Oh, lovely  welcome to K9, if I've not said it before

Your dogs are really nice-looking. Tell us more about Lenny (is that him on the right?) He looks quite young... what a sweet face.

Ahh lovely picture Jezza - I loved the look of that puppy  and just as lovely grown up. Molly

Well done Mary-Caroline for the operation - you did him proud.... my daughter just spent two weeks work experience at a Vets and thoroughly enjoyed it. She stood through a castration too and one on a ferret.

We have just got Lenny from Acornlodge. He is nearly 5 months old. He is having his last injections on wednesday so it won't be long before we can take them both out for a run together :D

We've had him for 2 weeks now and they're getting on really well. They don't seem to like sharing anything though :( but I'm assuming thats normal at the moment.

Heres a couple more pics

Oh mum, do I have to share my toys with him?

Hi Lesley,

Which part of west yorkshire are you from? I'm in wakefield. Whereabouts do you take your dogs for walkies off the lead, I'm always on the lookout for new places :- "
