My little Dorkie who is 13 weeks old today, doing well and out walking now. Finding the eves are the worse time! She will not leave my older dog alone , wants to play with her all tge time, older dog is 2.5yrs and a dachshund cross so will play at times but also wants to rest in front of fire !
I do distract the pup etc but will this constant wanting to play ease ?

It will in time, but you should not wait for that, as the older dog might well be driven to doing something you don't want done, and the results may be permanent. Instead, you commit to separating them when pup becomes overbearing, and spending some 1 to 1 time with your old dog.
