Hi guys, sorry not to have posted here in forever and apologies for the gross nature of this post ... don't read on if you're eating :x
The post title says it all. We've tried most of the generally advised things, the boys are rarely outside alone when toileting, but Griff, who has always had leanings in this direction, is now dashing in and literally eating the poo as it exits the other dogs bums ... it doesn't even have chance to hit the ground  And this despite having one or the other of us right behind him commanding 'Leave'. Trouble is he can get to the pooing dog quicker than we can get to him. The antics that take place in our garden two or three times each day are probably hilarious to watch but apart from the health aspects of this it's beginning to worry the other dogs (and us when he emits toxic farts all evening) and a couple are starting to copy him.
Their diet - because I know that's relevant - roughly 50% raw (green tripe, lambs hearts etc.), about 25% kibble (Skinners Field and Trial Duck and Rice), and 25% from tinned sardines, scrambled eggs, goats yoghurt, cottage cheese, cooked veg, Nature Diet (varies through the week). They're also supplemented with various herb mixes from CSJ etc. and Evening Primrose Oil capsules. And in Griff's case anything else he can scavenge.
All suggestions gratefully received )
