Hi there,

I'm new to the forum. I have a four year old Golden retriever called Barney. I always try and be a responsible dog owner and will always poop/scoop after him wherever possible.

I got curious as to what others owners' take is on the subject of poop/scooping after their dog, so I've set up a little anonymous survey on surveymonkey.co.uk here:

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6FJWVH8

Hopefully lots of people here will be happy to complete it.

Thanks very much

Oh and I'll happily share the results once I get enough responses in

Hi and wlecome to the forum. I'm relatively new here, and one of the questions I asked was on this very subject. You can see the replies here, hope it helps.

I think the problem with a survey on this posted here is you are automatically getting the attention of people that are very much into dogs, not the average dog owner.

That's really good advice from Biker John, as he says, it's probably only responsible owners you'll find here which probably won't give you accurate results.

I recently read, really can't remember how i came across the article, that Gosport or Hampshire council are introducing bye laws - as a trial i think, whereby walkers/owners etc, can only walk four dogs at any one time, and must show that they have the means to clear up after their dogs? Probably best to Google it for clarification
