OMG Marie,only just got back from Poole,so i've only just seen your post :( will give you a ring tomorrow,to see how little George and you are doing xx
 
Sorry to hear little George has had a accident ...i am sure he will be as good as new again soon
 
Just to let you all know that we took George back to the vet for a check up this afternoon and the vet said

he is very pleased with the way things are going. George is already putting a considerable amount of weight

through the leg and there is no residual stiffness in any of the joints. The bone is already forming callus

and the wound is healing really well. We have just got to keep up the good work and take hime back again in

4 weeks for another check up. I must say that I have found Paul our orthapaedic specialist to be a very good

and thorough vet and I gather from others that the size of the bill was not as huge as some have had from

other vets. He has made sure that George has had proper pain relief throughout and I think that has helped

him recover enormously. Thanks again everyone for your good wishes, it really means such a lot to Graham

and myself.
