I 've just had a phone call of my mum Glenys Rutter she had just got back from the vets

My dad had been walking their 3 dogs Millie Jake and Chippy and let them loose on some gardens near to my house when for some reason Millie ran of and ran across a main road .She was hit by a car and is now at the vets on a drip.

Fortunately a vets nurse who lives nearby saw the accident and took my dad and the dogs home and my dad took her straight to the nearest vets.

Although I don't have all the details she is on a drip for shock but he doesn't seem to think she is too seriously hurt bruising and a few cuts and her nose is bleeding slightly.

Mum has to ring the vets tomorrow at 9.30 am and Millie may be able to come home then

Please think of Millie this weekend and send all your best wishes for a speedy recovery as I think this has shook my mum up a bit as for all millie's mischief in the house she has always been reliable off the lead

Hope Millie is on the mend soon

Best Wishes To All

Really sorry to hear about Millie. :( I hope she's better soon. This is a similar thing that happened to Muffin when he was very young and it's really horrible. He had a couple of nasty cuts to his legs and was a bit shocked but was able to come home straightaway. It really shakes you up. I hope your mum and dad get over the shock quickly and that Millie is able to come home. All the best to everyone and lots of hugs to Millie. :huggles:

:huggles: :luck: :luck: to Millie :luck: :luck: :huggles: get well soon

Good luck for a speedy recovery, same thing happened to me in January when Charlie was just 6 months old. Its going to be a tough weekend on you all. My heart goes out to you.

Awful shock I'm sure. Did anyone treat your Dad for shock? I'm sure he would have been in a state ... I know I would have been. I hope there is not much wrong at all with Millie and that she can come home soon.

I hope that Millie is back home again with you soon. I know what it feels like as my Fern was knocked over by a car only a few weeks ago. She's 100% fine now.
