I have just spoken to my mum and she says she has phoned the vet and the news appears to be good.

Millie has been out to the toilet and seems brighter todayalthough she is limping on her back left leg they may xray that today the vet she spoke is going to speak to the other vet and will phone back later

Hopefully she is going to be ok as long as there are no internal injures although she is now only going to be allowed to run free in safe areas not near any roads

Have passed on all your best wishes to my parentsand they say many thanks to you all

Just seen this - Hope millie is on the mend by now. :huggles: :luck: :luck:

Your poor dad too , :( Glad Millie looks to be ok :luck:

Sorry to hear about Millie and I hope she makes a full recovery. This is all our worst nightmare, especially with the squirrels at the moment they seem to be everywhere tempting little whippets to pull to the end of their leads. Tell your mum and dad that we're thinking of them and give Millie a :huggles: for us when you see her.

Love Jenny

Thank goodness she's okay :huggles: that scenario is one of my worst nightmares!

:huggles: :huggles: to your Mum and Dad and I really hope Millie is ok. :huggles:

The good news is Millie is now back at home she is a bit sore and is limping slighlty on her left back foot she has swollen toes on that foot but if she is still limping after the weekend she has to go back to have an xray

glad to hear Millie is back home and I hpe the x ray turns out fine, what a terrible shock, hope your mum and dad are getting over it now :huggles:

Glad to hear Millie is home and feeling a bit better. :luck: :luck:

Glad to hear Millie is better but what about the poor car driver I can't think of anything worse as a driver - I had a narrow escape some years ago with one of my dogs and never take any chances now - it's a hard lesson but our dogs are our responsibility and you have to take it seriously when you live in the city near roads

Just caught up with this post, I'm really sorry to hear that poor Millie was hurt. I hope her limp improves by tomorrow and that no further treatment is needed.

Best wishes to you all and a big hug for Millie. :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:
