got a bit worried about your post at first....glad it's only his age.

I think he'll look cool with a sun visor, he's so placid he probably won't mind wearing one.

Just been to Wales and never have I seen so many dogs on holiday, one little dog got wheeled past in a sort of small shopping trolley, didn't get the chance to ask the owner why, would Fred go in a backpack if you didn't want to let him stay at home ?

lots of :huggles: to little Fred from all of us

Sorry to hear about Fred :( but not too bad news I suppose , Im sure youve years ahead to gether still :luck:

Isnt it strange how some age quicker than others , much like people I suppose

Ive got Montee becoming a veteran next month (w00t)

Still no sign of Woody (11) or Mollee ( 10 1/2) slowing down yet . although Woody still wobbles and walks a bit odd due to his op last december.

Mayzee (15) is just happy to poddle about the garden, shes completely deaf and her eyes are going cloudy now and she has trouble seeing in the dark :( but her appetite is still spot on :- " and she can still get on the bed at 6 am each morning ;)

Yes I agree some do age quicker than others, my dear old ESS at 15 yrs is now really feeling her age, BUT wicked Wizzy can still be extremely naughty even tho' a true veteran :teehee: even when it comes to dragging the odd blanket outside for a slice of the 'rays', even if the other vet, Xsara, has to join in too

And he really enjoyed strutting his stuff at a local trainning class the other night showing my grand daugther Jazmin how it should be done if she wants to be a Junior Handler :- " Bless him, the best teacher you can get.

Best of luck with Fred, lots of love, cuddles and everything at his own pace now, enjoy.

:luck: Bless him, poor old chap. I love the oldies, but they are such a worry with all their bits and bobs going wrong. Hope Fred perks up soon

how scary, I'd of been getting worried too :sweating:

isn't it strange how one day you suddenly realise that they're not getting old anymore, they have become old :(

but he's still a lovely boy and I'm sure he'll still carry on having the fantastic lifestyle he has become accustomed too :luck: :- "

my old Devon isn't far behind him, he'll be 11 at Christmas - and he's about to enter the show ring again for the first time this decade (w00t) so there is still plenty of life left in our oldies
