Cage rest for at least the next week til she sees the nice physio again :huggles: Then probably just a bit of lead walking and swimming for a while

It is just one of those freak accidents and unfortunately she was probably going about 30mph when you got her foot stuck

Colouring books would be a grea idea, all those colouring pencils to chew and paper to shred! o o

Poor little Peggy-Sue - it's such a nightmare when pups are injured, the concept of cage rest is a tough one for their lively little bodies to cope with :sweating: , but hope all the extra chewies make up for it a bit :huggles:

She seems to be improving every day, using the hind leg intermittently but had ants in her pants this morning! :lol:

Thanks for asking :huggles: and yes here is hoping for a really speedy recovery, but I think it is also going to be a case of being very careful with her for a while so not to strain it again. But at this stage it is looking very positive :luck:

What rotten luck. Hope the swimming helps but she will probably think you are trying to shrink her at first if she is anything like my boys - they just don't appreciate being wet unless it is about 90degs when they will just about paddle in water up to their briskets.
