AA route planner states 132.6 mile for Worcester quoting 2 hr 26 mins.

I can give the big thumbs up to this place as ive been there lots 
If it all goes ahead make sure ya bring the kids BMX bikes with them as it has the most amazing jumps and ramps where they hold the British BMX Championships ( think thats what its called). The country and western bar is very cool and the grubs great. The views over the massive lake is smashing and lots of fishing etc. Ive got my fingers crossed that we get the chance to race here.

Well nobody can say its not centaral for everyone and if you get the urge its less than an hour to Bury best market officel in the uk and the origanel black puddings

For us from lancaster it would be about a hour -
from Westhoughton on 30mins
so those who have been to Westhoughton this will give you some idea --
From north east i would travel across to M6 via either Carlisle or Kirby Stephen then straight down to Preston then Southport---nearly all dual lane now--
Just Kirkby Stephen that may slow you down but a lovely spot to call off at anyway for a break
I can get from Scotch Corner to Lancaster in about an hour /so it would be around two hours from Scotch Corner--
about 4-1/2 hours from Kirkaldy--road from Preston is a good un --dual lane most of it--if memory serves correctly
really lovely spot for kids/holidays/plenty going on --

did a rough calculation last night comparing travelling distance to here and Swallownest as an example
for racers from the outer edges i.e Hastings, Portsmouth,Cornwall,Aberdeen and Dingwall and the location evens out pretty well although it adds around 30 minutes for those furthest south it takes a good 90 minutes off those furthest north (still leaving them the furthest to travel )
