I wonder if someone could help. My very lovely energetic 5 year old sprocker was left to mate with my friends dog. We left them too for 2 days 3 days apart she’s a naturally slender dog. This was 6 weeks ago and she is displaying some strange behaviour. She is a little stockier. But over the last few days she has been even more needy than usual humping, scratching her bed (never done either before) and licking me (this is usual) I haven’t taken her to the vets to see if she is pregnant as I’m just hoping she might be. Is this the type of behaviour of a pregnant dog. I didn’t see them tie, but she was certainly allowing him and he was certainly trying. But we just left them to it! Any advice appreciated.

You won't know for sure unless you have her scanned, which IMO is a waste of money as it won't make her any more pregnant if she is and won't make her pregnant at all if she isn't. You've only 3 weeks to wait.

For anyone else reading (and NOT a criticism of OP) never ever leave a dog and bitch together on their own to mate. Some horrific injuries can result, and I know of a dog killed when the bitch bolted in the tie.
