As Dolly said the Bio Groom Super White shampoo is great.  I use it on my Bolognese and she comes up snow white.  I also use Bio Groom Silk conditioning Rinse.  It leaves her coat beautiful and silky but not limp and flat like some conditioners.  It says on the bottle suitable for all colours including whites.
Kirsty

:) Hi, where can I get this shampoo? :- "

I use Avon for Kids, Strawberry as I had run out of what was my usual - Tea Tree Oil shampoo, and it was immediately to hand.

A) It is so gentle on their skin, no dandruff, scurf or whatever as it does not overdry the skin

B) Because it leaves the coat shiny and in good nick

C) Cos it smells nice.

Oh and as it is usually on two for one offer in the brochure, it's cheap.

Mine usually get a bath if they've been running out on the hill and as it's red clay stuff, they sometimes come home orange or as with everyone else if they've rolled in something disgusting.

We tend to bath 2 to 3 days before the show as they need time to get their natural oil back into the coat. Lilly (our white girl) needs a bath every week as she is young and loves to dig holes... We use a brand of horse shampoo (purple) which helps with the white and an electric nail trimmer (dremel) once a week to keep them rounded. I've found that a grooming mit with soft rubber spikes works well to bring out the dead coat and won't break the coat along with mole skin rugs for a good shine. I don't think there's a right or wrong, just what works for you.

As Lily is black brindle, no doubt she will roll in something vile and white before the big day.  (w00t) .

If Lily is looking for a few tips Gull and Pidgion poo are great :D

Lily says thank you, she knew about pigeon but not Gull! (w00t) She wants to know how she can get some

I don't tend to bathe mine often. I did for Savannah's first show and she shed dandruff like crazy. I'll touch them up with Plush Puppy Wonder Wash (a blue self-rinsing shampoo) if they need it. I brush them out with a zoom groom, and/or a shedding blade, trim up tails and trousers if needed (maybe once a month), and do nails weekly.

Before going in the ring I might brush them out again, and shine them with a chamois/velvet mitt.

LOVE wash'n'wear dogs.
