WHY Well for a start the presa is used as a working breed they work with cattle hunt boar very well and do man work, they have great stamina and good scenting ability so why not cross this breed with a greyhound to produce a lurcher, please feel free to commentposh totty said:
First answer why not deerhounds are big and heavy and they are crossed with greyhounds, second answer the same as the third growth issues and turning ability will be no different than a pure greyhound?Hard mouthed they would be but i dont have all the answers as i dont know anyone with this cross but i do know people with pure presasposh totty said:why would you cross with something as big and heavy ? what would your quarry be? what viable working abilities could it have with the current ban? what would be the growth rate? potential growth issues and then turning abilities? how hard mouthed would they be ?

Bull crosses i know all about having kept my first one in the 1987 long before they were a craze, for brains the presa is brainy, what the cross would offer is smilar to a bull cross but more height better feet, could you explain why this cross is stupid do you know one, have you seen one work?.I wouldnt comment on something being stupid unless i was in a position to do so and i dont think you are.You sound kennel shy, bet if your pals had one you would want oneBedlam said:Another thing is ...Who in there right mind would buy oneFor a big, fox killing lurcher we have bull crosses
for stamina we have saluki crosses, nothing wrong with being different but this cross is just plain stupid.
the brains of the breed is it there?
