My 8 month old puppy just went out in the snow today and came in and I noticed a bald patch, I thought it was where she was wet and her hair parted but when I looked close under it was this little red spot too.
Any advice?
I have put sudocrem but im thinking it could be fleas or? Im not sure.

It's hard to say from photos. Ringworm (a fungus, not a parasite) causes bald spots but you would expect other family members to be itching too. Demodex mites also cause bald spots but if a dog's immune system is healthy I wouldn't expect it. It might even be spots - canine teenage acne - your dog is the right age. But really only a vet exam can say for sure. For fleas the easiest way to check is for flea faeces. These are like little bits of grit, often near the tail base, and if you put them on wet kitchen roll or toilet tissue they sort of bleed out a brown colour as they dissolve.

Possibly a hot spot? Our dog had something similar, almost like a red rash and a bald spot developed. Vet confirmed this, so I think he had antibiotics and the odd dab of sudocrem too. Like Joanne F said, a vet check would confirm what it is. Please let us know how you get on.
