Question....our little bitch Summa Breeze won the Sussex Puppy derby recently and when filling out my next open form I inquired if she could go in the Maiden group,i was told yes as it was a 'Puppy Derby she had won and not a Maiden....all well.Filling in another open form today I entered her in the Maiden group only to be told as she had won the Derby she must now run in the main group !!!!Can anyone tell me who is correct please

Is there some-one who is on the WCRA comittee who could advise Lesley? I think Paul Chappell the secratary is quite sharp on rules and regs........Send an e-mail or ring him to confirm. It's a funny one really, sort of falls between 2 stools. Of course if she is not in the maiden group, she won't be competition for her brothers and sisters.......Not sure if that's good or bad :wacko: Good luck finding out and see you on the week-end :thumbsup:

I can remember this has come up before and the puppy derby winner wasn't allowed to run at a maiden. I don't think there is a written rule so its a bit of a grey area. It seems to be up to whoever is running the open. This is whereI want a shrugging emoticon.
