You must not make personal attacks on other groups, persons, organisations or users. If you feel you must criticise then criticise the idea not the individual or group. Any posts criticising individuals or groups will probably get removed and those doing the critcising will be warned via the warning system

I wonder if you could enlighten us as to which of the posts has contravened your restrictions above?

If not I wonder, what are you afraid of?

i think he was trying to warn us not to put individual names etc on as this does break k9 rules .

he wasnt being mean lol just stopping us before we made personal comments

He was Sharon, It comes to something when the moderators are trying to keep the peace and its misread doesn't it

lol quite agree

This situation was bought to my attention yesterday, at this time SW Whippet are aware and someone will hopfully visit to assess the conditions.

I know we can relie on support from all K9ers and we will keep you updated when we have some news.

PM if you like ,as some information is not for an open forum

as along as no-one buys none and has common sense to see them in these conditions.kenneling dogs is ok if you are organised.I.e sexing, exercise hygene.

I was made aware of the situation today.

I have looked back through the KC Breed Record supplements that I have, and I have records of 7 litters between 18/5/04 and 22/5/06, but I know there are some newer pups advertised at the moment.

All the litters are sired by the same blue dog, 3 litters from 1 bitch, 2 from another and one each from two other bitches - a total of 36 puppies.

If anyone wants this information so they can take it further, e-mail me personally.

Posting names would be libelous.

While the conditions this person keeps her dogs are not acceptable to me or majority of people on k9, legally she is probably not doing anything against any law. She may be breaking KC rules though..

Maybe we should have somebody to explain up to date libel and slander laws in nutshell, and attach to the posting rules?

Once i went to get some hay for my horses and came home with whole litter of starved kittens. Tried to buy the sick looking mother cat as well but they would not sell her

Well im the friend that went with Devonmaid to view these puppies and yes i aggree this woman is a puppy farmer and yes she is breaking the law.

Shes living in a Caravan on a farm that probably only has planning permission to be lived in by a farm worker.

She's probably claiming housing benefit, income support and other benefits. I doubt very much she has registered with the local council for a breeders liscence.

Ive been showing and breeding whippets for about 12 years now so i feel i know whippets colours very well. The dog and shes using as the sire she showed us his pedigree and we had a look at him after and he was definatly brindle.

Infact this dog was mating a bitch as we where there watching the pups, this bitch is the one that had the pups in march this year.

I am not saying that something should not be done, on the contrary I do hope you can do something. But you do not know what permits she has or what support she is claiming. She is probably also not in position to afford legal representation, but that does not mean that libelous claims can be posted.

are there any funds left from the rescue fund? maybe someone should at least report her to the kennel club ? then the local authority? also the benefits agency? tax office? and for what good it will do the rspca?

good luck to all who is concerned in helping these poor whippets :luck:

I'm in South Devon, not sure of where this farm is but if I can help - just yell.

Yeah, that's fine. I was just going by the BRS and what is actually registered at the Kennel Club. Perhaps she has a different dog now too? I now have 5 generation pedigrees for most of the dogs involved.
