she will have to take it out every hour for a few days and slowly streach out the times. if shes got paper in the cage take it out. she needs to rewards like a loony every time the pup does anything outside i allways used little bits of chicken or cheese I would have ready in the fridge so I could grab it on the way out and the second the pup does anything we or poo paries and give a treet.

she might have to stay up late and get up early and graduly lengthen the night time in the pen aswell.

Its the teckneck I have used for my pups but allso the adult greyhounds and lurchers we have fosterd and houes trined its very time consuming for a few day having to be up and out every hour but it does work.

Allso is there any chance she can contact the resuce to see what there routin was.

Time and patience needed I think-

Lots of praise when the dog poo's in the correct place and stern disappointment when he performs in his cage....

As others have said too-plenty of walks/exercise to encourage him to perform outdoors.

No easy answer is there with pups-?

Much of what they do depends on the times when you feed them take note and change the time when you feed see if that helps---

It is also very probably stressed and frightened and I expect it will settle down as it gets used to them and the routine.

Unfortuantely 'Shit Happens'-excuse the pun-lol :clown:

Seriously though, hope the little pup finds the right owner 'for him/her' soon
