thats just how our boris is with starge dogs not a sound just goes for them when there in reach but never greyhounds and onces he had a good sniff with his muzzle on hes tere best mate. mine would be up all night if they got cold and didnt ahve ther jammys on heres Indy in hers

When we were on holiday last week we went on the beach every day & most days there were other lurchers & greyhounds there too. One big black g/hound came running over & Scrumpy went to say hello. There was no sign of aggression at all, they both wanted to make friends. Now I was all ready to have a chat about the dogs, like you do but he called his dog (which eventually did go back to him) & set off running up the beach....this was the bloke, not the dog... he was like Forest Gump (w00t)

We saw the same person most times & even tho I said hello he still ran off up the beach with dog in hot pursuit.

I know I wasn't looking my best but didn't realise I was that scary (w00t)

Maybe he's related to your strange bloke Evie

I get worried when walking mine if i see any dog(s) approaching mine . Most pet owners have unsocialised creatures that start off wanting to play, and end up aggressive. I have had my bitch bitten twice, 1 by a dobie, 1 by a husky. There is an aggressive lookins gsd, and when i see it, i cross the road. Perhaps youe chap has had his pride and joy bitten before, and is just being over carefull, like i have got.

i know with my lot the main ones we avoid are the doggy dangelrs the prats thet hve there handbag dogs on flexy leads and stay away from you but let there dog go on its flexy inches away from yours and even if tere dog does no start yapping you can garantte if you dont pull away your going to get notted up in its bloody flexy leads whitch in turn stresses or hurts your dog then your the vainan or they let there little yappy thing sand there winding your lot up just out of reach dangling there dog in front of you
