This afternoon I'm due to make a batch of veggies for my BARF and I've managed to get some peas in their pods. Does anyone know if its safe to use the pods and mash up them too or should I shuck the peas first?

I eat peas and the pods :clown: so Im sure they would be safe for dogs too. I googled it and says they are fine...

I also feed them to my rabbits and guinea pigs.

My rule of thumb when I anm giving my Black Lab anything new to eat: If he barfs or has any adverse reaction I never feed it to him again. I have learned the hard way many times that human food and dog food are very different.

Thanks,

Kel
