I dont need to rabbit-on about the weekend as everyone knows who won what when and how. A quick thanks to NLRC Club who invited me to judge the Open Show on Saturday along with a couple of others, a great but testing experience.
This Club ran a hectic 2 days of Open Lurcher events like clockwork..Well Done !
A massive Final line up of about 60 dogs in the Champion of Champions Show Final was reduced to about 20 in the first cut (exit stage right me with China and William Mckeown with Clint....ooops  ) The lady judge sliced it down to her fav 6 then selected her Champ and Reserve. . . an arduous task without doubt ! Vicki Grewcock and her black and whit broken coated dog SECRET taking the honours.
Saturday i ran China at the Sim-Coursing, again thanks Ian for excepting my Book-in via a fone call, mucho appreciato ! I literally had no time at all from ferry, my muts were in the boot of my car for 13 hours as the ferry was held up disembarking 350000 kids !
China seemed to travel well despite that length of time and worked her way through 32-dogs, her Semi-Final she met an old friend.....Colts brother Major aka Gip ! The final was very close with her taking it ahead of Andys Kes. Colt watched from the sidelines with an even longer face than usual...hopefully he should get a run out in 2 weeks.
Sunday i let her Straight race as really i was there for the Coursing title, this was an extra. Some cracking speedsters but lucky enough she won it too with Amanda and Petes Finn coming Reserve.
Anyway off to unload bags.
heres my girl with her rosettes
