George has asked me to let everybody know that sadly Billy had to be put to sleep this morning. He took Billy to the vets as his condition had not improved. The vet examined Billy and confirmed he had suffered a serious heart attack and they could not ease his pain and improve his life. George had to make the heart breaking decision to have Billy put to sleep to stop his suffering.

As you can imagine both George & Lett are heartbroken to have lost their loyal little companion who was only five and a half years old.

So sorry to hear that Billy had to be put to sleep today. You couldn't have wished for a better dog and he will always be remembered for his achievements at the race track, especially winning Sup RCh 3 years running - something not done for over 30 years. He was one in a million.

RIP Billy - we will all miss you. Run free little man

Billy was an exceptional & honest little racer, giving 150% everytime he left those traps and as you say Kathryn "a loyal little companion", i'll never forget the close bond obvious for all to see that George & Billy had, Billy off lead & by George's side every move he made - trying to get his pic was a nightmare, he'd never look to the camera as he never wanted to take his eye off his owner, until of course you shouted "Biscuit".

RIP Billy - one in a million!

RIP Billy, can't believe this sad news, as you all know Billy was one of our all time favourites and we will always remember him for his racing and for his character, one in a million. We send our dearest sympathy to George and Lett as we know how much he was thought of. It may not be the right time but we would like to thank George and Lett for their kindness allowing and trusting us with dear Little Bill when we tried for Billy babies sadly this wasn't to be. With tears in my eyes i send hugs to you all. XXX

So sorry to hear of this little dogs end I watch this dog over the last 3 year I been back racing and thought this dog in is prime was best dog I seen he won races at 1/2 yard lb not lot of small dog do that so god bless sup champion little bill think of good times this little dogs give you geogre & lett and family because I know he had whole family beyond him when he ran so run free little man gone but never forgotten god bless Lyndon &bethany xx
