Went to Raby Castle at the weekend for the showing and racing. Met up with some old friends and made some new ones, nice to meet you Andy & Tracey ( Scooterdack ). Stormy was also there with Jade's 2 uncles one of which is being rehomed with a friend of ours. Don't believe all stormy says I wasn't drunk all weekend just a small part of it and I was still standing (only just ). On saturday Jade got knocked out of the Puppy Racing by andy's dog Casper who went on to win. China won the under 23" straight racing and in the afternoon Jade won her puppy class and was res. champ. It was so hot I had to keep drinking to keep fluid levels up, bailey's & rose wine were favorite!!!!!!!. Went to beer tent on Sat night but alas the pics I took were too dark apart from 1,I'm sure some will be saying thank god for that, even those who did a runner!!!. Sunday Jade turned the tables on Casper and won Puppy racing Champion with him in reserve. In the afternoon Jade did the double by winning puppy champion in the show as well. Jordan and Dixie won the under 23" racing & the hurdle racing. Have to say it was a nice weekend and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Now for the pics.

someone said that the deers were settin the dogs off during the night but we never heard a dog howl like that before :b

i have already sent you a pm in response to yours as i didnt read this post before i got your pm...but it seems you wish us to discuss it over the public forum so be it....

i was reffering to the female attention john was recieving and how women howl different to dogs and that john was more interested in the dogs than the women....as for the jade comment it was a way of saying she was running fast to get away from men with no women...a joke not a dig!!!

we do not do bitchy over racin or showin and if your dog is faster one day and ours the other that is life...we are not trophie chasers in showin or racin and we didnt breed the dog to beat other dogs in racing we bred him to course in winter the racin and showin are a giglle to us.. i think this about covers what i sent in a pm, but if it isnt feel free to copy it onto the forum....as i cant remember everything we put!!!!

as for your bedale comment...our dog had just split his claw on the thursday and we think he did very...you must be very very competative if you think winnin is worth startin a public arguament over and we dont do competative unless it is in the workin field but feel free to put jade against casper this season on a a few rabbits!

Now Ive read your pm and understand what it was all about it makes sense but when I read the post yesterday it read like I'd done something untoward and I was only sticking up for my dog. I did find it strange that you'd say something like that cos we'd all had such a good weekend. No way was I trying to put Casper down as i think he's a lovely dog and the 2 of them will be destined to tussle for the spoils when they meet up. Hope this clears things up .

now had we been talkin children i probably would have reacted the same way but for now the dogs showing and racing are a sideline in our lives and we are not as devoted or committed as a lot of people who have been doing this for a lot longer than us

this all said i find myself embarresed that this had to be sorted out in a public post and will be very very careful what i say in future as i had not anticipated such a response to such an innocent bit of banter...sorry to all and tnx again, andrew and tracy...xxx
