Yesterday we went to our club's Fun Day. It was rather cold and windy and at times rainy, so there were not as many people as the last one. But we met there our Rupert, Madelaine's brother;

Callista, Bess, Madelaine and Rupert who did not really be in this picture.

I was there too. Of course no pics, I dont really exist, I'm just a figment of my imagination!

No really, I had a good day. I raced my 2 girls Kibah & Feather. Couldn't run Penny as she came into season just after I paid her entry monies, yeah that'd be right.

Both my girls won their first rounds but then Kibah came up against Fish in the next heat & that was it for her. Fish was the o'erall winner on the day so it was no shame to be beaten by him, besides he is the father of Pennys puppies Tag & Puck. Little Feather also lost her 2nd round but she was the smallest whip competing, all of 9 kgs if she's lucky, up against a 15kg male & she didn't loose by much so I'm pretty happy.

I got to meet Karen (Tesa) & her boys too so that was good.

They actually took a group photo of all the competitors this time, I think it's the first time they'e done that. I hope Sue posts a pic here. They also mentioned the dogs pedigree names & ga'e credit to the winning dogs breeder which I think is a really good thing instead of just thinking of them only as pets...which they are first & foremost!

Oh right when I say I dont exist! Lida must hae been adding pics as I was writing. Lo & behold there I am with my girls, I'm the one who looks like Elle McPherson. Cant see her? Well I'm not telling then.

Funny thing was, we were trying to take a photo to show the difference in size, but Lida couldn't get a shot of Madelaine because Beau was in the way :lol: :lol: :lol:

He is Madelaine's brother Rupert (Tazaris Domino), he is blue brindle. Another pic of them taken by Ruperts owners, which was just emailed to me.

I did not take many pictures, i hope Sue will post some here if she finds the time. My camera does not take very good pics from distance.

Hi, thanks for your comments. Bess is Lojai Bessie Blue, she is a mother of Madelaine= Tazaris Dulcimer (Berinswift Gypsy Lore X Lojai Bassie Blue). Bess is a grandmother of my red Callista (Coridale Eye Spied X Tazaris Attika). Bess is 5 y.o. now, and was born when her mum was quite old, so she is the old fashioned type of a Whippet

I can email you pedigree if you would like to look at it.
